Cruise ‘feels like a kid’ with Spielberg

Hollywood star Tom Cruise loves working with director pal Steven Spielberg on the War of the Worlds movie, because the ET creator makes filming so fun.

The Minority Report actor is joining Miranda Otto and Dakota Fanning on the remake of HG Well’s alien invasion tale, which he will also produce.

Cruise and Spielberg have managed to come up with an amazing $200m (€286.2m) budget for the eagerly-anticipated movie.

Cruise enthuses: “I feel like a kid working with him. We’re just laughing and high- fiving. I just think it’s the images he comes up with, the story. There’s no one else like Steven Spielberg, no one. It’s extraordinary.”
