The 33-year-old mother-of-three is also looking forward to moving in next door to best pals KATIE HOLMES and TOM CRUISE.

“I really like Katie. She’s sweet and we speak on the phone about fashion and the kids – Suri has just started walking,” she said.

“We talk about what she’s doing script-wise and she’s helped me research the kids’ schools.”

She continued: “All this talk about a marriage crisis with them is as true as a marriage crisis with us. People just don’t want to believe that they’re nice people and they’re happy together.”

Victoria added: “Just like people don’t want to believe that about us.”

It was clear at least some of the ice cream went to Holmes’ new husband, Tom Cruise.
“I said I needed some help with the ice cream and one of the assistants told me he had to drive the boss around instead,” she said.

Kauffman asked, “Who’s the boss?”

“His wife’s in the movie,” said the assistant. “He’s only here for three days.”

The latest edition of People magazine published a photo of Katie and Suri taken here May 11 and says she treated people on the set to ice cream, cup cakes and pizza. Katie, Suri go shopping

You know that darlin’ bright pink sundress trimmed in white rick-rack Suri — daughter of Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise — wore in photos in People mag and US Weekly last week?

Well, her mom bought it for her right here in Shreveport.

Katie and Suri stopped by Ladies in Waiting recently and shopped to their heart’s content for about an hour, e-mailed Melissa Dixon, who owns the shop with Pam Baker.

“Katie was very sweet and polite and Suri was the cutest thing ever. She is just now walking and stuck close by her mother and waved at some of our customers’ other children,” Dixon said.

Katie picked up clothes, toys, games and rain boots during the stop.

Two weeks after the visit, the shop received a thank-you note from Katie for a gift they presented her. (Source: Shreveport Times)
