I had found this news the day it was reported but for some reason couldn’t access the site. Now I can (don’t know why) so here it is, better late then never!
The BBC posted an article claiming to have Cruise’s Welsh roots uncovered. Tom Cruise’s great-great grandfather Dylan Henry Mapother emigrated from Flint in north Wales to Louisville Kentucky in 1850 when he was 16. Tom is said to be descended from many generations of Mapothers living in Wales. He was told this on an American TV show and now Tom has been invited to visit north Wales. Cruise’s ancestral town uncovered tells us a little more about this town.
